A large 1/4 acre corral with a smaller 12 x 24 pen within, is available with water and stock tank. Ride from the corrals on the miles of trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, on and around the ranch. A fee of $10 per night per horse is added to your stay. The best months for riding are May through October.
My friend and I took our 2 horses up to stay at Cienaga Creek Ranch in July. The weather was beautiful. We were able to sleep in and ride mid morning and it still was not too hot. The PCT trail was stunning and the views magnificent. Our horses had a large corral to stay in with plenty of shade. The cabin was first rate with everything you would ever need to have a wonderful vacation. The only problem I had was leaving. – L.F.
We were there for 2 nights and wish we were there for a week. The property is beautiful, the cabins extremely clean, and comfortable and adorable. The owners were wonderful, the cinnamon buns delivered for breakfast were to die for. So was the homemade bread the next morning. If you are looking for a quiet escape, this is a wonderful place to go. We are looking forward to going back. We took our horses and were able to corral them for the weekend also. Wonderful. – R.G.
We promise, your pets will enjoy Big Bear cabins as much as you do. Previous pet guests tell us that while they would love to stay in a pet-friendly cabin rental forever, they also love their families enough to sacrifice and return to the city with them. We can’t blame them if they spend their days dreaming of a return to a Big Bear cabin rental nature retreat.Cienaga Creek Ranch
